African Futures Radio
OLUZAYO is a festival on location. And a Festival On Air:
From June 1 to 4, OLUZAYO will broadcast from the community of Cologne. Yaël Koutouan and Waltraud Blischke moderate the evenings, with invited studio guests around the whole festival – from performers to participating artists and members of the curation.
21h-22h: Listening hour
22h-24h: Live broadcast with guests and playlists curated by artists of the festival.
»African Futures Radio« deepens the insights into the realities of life, into the discourses. It is about sound and identity, about art and tradition and about memories and independent concepts of African modernity.
The project takes place in cooperation with the Municipality of Cologne, Brunnen e.V. and ON- Neue Musik Köln.
